In 2020, ecolytiq was founded to address one of the biggest challenges facing society, namely climate change. Since then, we have become a global company working with major financial institutions in Europe, North America and the Middle East, estimating that over 500,000 tons of CO2 emissions were avoided globally through those partnerships. We look forward to the continued expansion and growth of ecolytiq’s mission in making daily purchasing behaviors more sustainable for both consumers and businesses.

As the company and its objectives evolve, so, too, does the management team that founded it. After having co-founded ecolytiq 3.5 years ago and been crucial to its success, Ulrich Pietsch has decided to spend more time on new entrepreneurial ventures and will therefore hand over his operational duties as Managing Director. Ulrich will nevertheless continue to be an integral part of ecolytiq, and will take on a new role as Executive Chairman advising the company’s commercial strategy and overall direction.

Friedrich Hubel, Mirko Kämpf, and David Lais, will continue to guide ecolytiq in this next phase of scaling, ensuring our continued success on the way towards becoming global leaders in sustainability for the finance industry. We are excited that Ulrich will continue to be part of this journey with us in his new role.
