As the principal banking partner of COP29, hosted in Azerbaijan, ABB Bank has introduced an innovative tool to support the fight against climate change for its customers.
The new Carbon Emissions Calculator, integrated into the ABB Mobile app, allows users to monitor the environmental impact of their banking transactions. This initiative is based on advanced technologies provided by the ecolytiq platform, which supports climate action in the banking sector. Ecolytiq collaborates with leading financial organizations, including Visa, and this technology is now available in the ABB Mobile app with Visa's support.
Every banking transaction impacts the environment in some way. With this tool, ABB customers can track their carbon footprint from daily financial operations and make more environmentally friendly choices to minimize their impact.
