Your Mission

• You manage, grow and develop one of our developer teams
• Use modern technologies incl. Kotlin, Java (Spring), Microservices, and Containers to develop new features for our core product 
• Be a part of the development of our software, processes and tools in cooperation with the product owners and developer colleagues
• Work hands-on by coding and taking part in the day-to-day delivery
• Participate in recruiting and onboarding new team members
• Motivate and engage your team to ensure their personal and professional well-being, and that business goals are achieved
• Ensure that the developers are aligned with the sprint goals and that the Product Owner has visibility on the work your team will deliver
• Ensure a great working culture in the team is maintained and enhanced
• Being a force for good and positively contributing to the culture
• You will help us to become the world’s 1st choice in sustainability software for financial institutions and are willing to keep our stack future-proof

• You are experienced in managing a team of developers preferably within a start-up environment 
• You bring 5+ years of practical work experience in the field of Kotlin and Spring coding
• You have experience working in an agile environment and leading a team in an early stage, sometimes chaotic, environment
• You have in-depth knowledge in computer science and application development 
• You bring strong knowledge in Java/Kotlin and Spring Framework
• You enjoy working hands-on together with your team and participate in the day-to-day delivery 
• You work very structured, independent and have an analytical mind
• You have strong interpersonal as well as communication skills 
• You are a leadership personality, you are able to motivate and develop others 
• You have very good German (at least C1) and preferably good English skills 
• Great if you bring experience with Maven/Gradle, JPA, MySQL, REST as well as: AWS, Docker, Kafka, Karate Test Framework, Clean Code Principles, Git
